This is the yummiest caramel I have ever tasted! Enjoy!
Never Fail Caramel
2 cubes butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
Mix together in thick saucepan and bring to a boil.
The amount of time you let it boil depends on what you are using the caramel for. If you are using it for popcorn, you only need to let it boil for a few minutes, to a soft ball. If you are using it to make caramels you need to let it boil to a medium ball. I always check it in a cup of very cold water to see if it is the consistency I want it.
