Tender Mercies
Today I have been thinking a lot about the tender mercies of the Lord as I have experienced some in the last few days. Many of you know that Andrew and I have had a home in Utah that we have been trying to sell. The last couple of months we haven't had renters in it and we have had to pay two mortgages. It has been a huge financial strain and I was already starting to worry about how we were going to make next month's payment. On top of that, I am finishing my master's degree through the University of Utah and when I went to see how much my tuition was going to be I found out that I had to pay out of state tuition. My bill for one 3-credit hour class was $3,300. I just started to cry and called Andrew to tell him how much it was. He is always an optimist and said it would be okay and that everything would work out. I couldn't quit being this close to finishing. I know that Heavenly Father knows when we have reached our max and that's when he sends his tender mercies to remind us that he is aware of us and our needs. On Friday, someone placed an offer on our house and it is now under contract to be sold. We will close on it next month. Also, when I went to pay my tuition online today, the amount had changed from $3,300 to $1,100! I have no idea what happened but I did not question it and went ahead and paid the tuition! I was so relieved. I am so grateful for these tender mercies of the Lord. He loves us and blesses us when we are trying our best to do what he want us to.
