Jonah - Two weeks old
Today is my 2nd day by myself. My parents left yesterday morning. It was so sad to say goodbye. My mom has been the biggest help and was so much fun to have around. I feel lonely more than anything. So far we have managed to survive with only a couple of catastrophes, the biggest being marker on the carpet in my bedroom! I took Jonah to his 2 week well-check today and he has already gained almost a pound and is and inch taller. It is amazing how much they grow in just two weeks. Here are some fun photos of the last couple of weeks with my family here. 
Our new favorite discovery- sweet potato fries dipped in cinnamon butter. They are yummy!

We went to a really fun fondue restaurant in Nampa. It is called the Mona Lisa. Unfortunately, Andrew got sick and had to leave.

This has been our biggest source of entertainment. You stick this beeswax candle in your ear, light it on fire and it sucks all of the wax out of your ear. It is pretty disgusting to see everything that comes out. If you want a little entertainment, you should try it!

Those candle pictures are hilarious. Jonah is beautiful and I miss you so much. I wish I could be there to keep you company, or just to take your kids so you can rest. I would love to bring you dinner, but I am thinking it will be nasty by the time I get there. Thank you so much for the nice card you sent. I was so excited to get something in the mail box besides junk mail or bills. I love you so much and I miss you. Is life with 3 kids nuts? I am scared that someday I won't be able to handle it! :) I love you.

And hey, at least you got 2 weeks of help -- the most I ever got was 3 days and even when I had Lizzie (mom 30 minutes away, no less) due to her back problems, she never got to take my other 3 or make me any sweet meals...You're doing great. Hang in there!

ha ha, I love the bees wax thing; I did that a few years back. How are you dealing with 3 kids? We are definitely going through some major adjustments over here and everyone keeps telling me it takes about a month. I hope they are right! I'm sure you are doing great. Jonah look so much like your other boys. What a cutie!
You guys are too funny, Jonah looks so big at 2 weeks. Keep taking pics to capture each change. I hope the adjustment is going well...

Where did you discover those delicous looking sweet potato fries?? Looks like so much fun with your family in town. We LOVE Mona Lisa's! We went there to celebrate our anniversary like 3 years in a row.
I love to do the ear candeling too. Good idea with the plate. One time Chris and I started our old couch on fire when we snipped the top off of the candle and it fell on our couch. Watch out :)
Cindy loves ear candles, but once she tried one out on my dad and it burned his ear because of all the coal dust in his ears from the mine. Who would have guessed?
