This month is going by so quickly. I thought life would slow down after the holidays but I'm starting to realize that with three little boys, life never really slows down! The past couple of weeks have been good and busy. We had a game night with our friends Morgan and Elisa and went to the show Walking With the Dinosaurs at the Idaho Center a couple of weekends ago. Noah and Drew loved it! The dinosaurs were so realistic. We had to keep reassuring them that they were just pretend. The whole time Drew kept asking if the dinosaurs were going to bite the man that was narrating the show!
This past weekend we drove to Emmett, a cute little town north of Nampa. We were searching for a specialty popcorn shop. We did find it, but it was closed! Afterwards, we drove to Middleton to see the house that was on Extreme Home Makeover! It was a nice drive and fun to get out for a bit. I spoke in church on Sunday and we had our "It's Great to be Eight" night for all of the kids turning 8 this year in primary. Everything went really well.
Last week Drew put gum in his hair twice and it was not easy to remove. I finally just had to cut it out. He looked like a cancer patient. He had two patches of hair missing and I finally just had to buzz him. Right after the first gum removal, I looked over at Jonah who was sitting in his bouncer, and the floor underneath him was green, his socks were green, and his legs, were green. Yes, the green stuff was poop. It was a joy to clean! I think he has a tummy bug because he has had diarreah for the last several days.
Noah's teacher called me from preschool today to tell me that he was complaining about a sore ear. I brought him home, gave him som Motrin and called the Dr. He wanted some strawberry milk to drink so I gave him some and about a half hour later he said, "Mommy, my ear doesn't hurt anymore. The strawberry milk made it all better!" He is prone to ear infections and has an appointment in about 3o minutes! Hope all of your families are healthier than mine!!
