- For FHE on Monday we had a lesson on King Benjamin and talked about how the people brought their tents and listened to the prophet speak. We are going to set up a tent tonight in the living room and have a family campout in anticipation for listening to the prophet speak tomorrow. We will let the boys watch conference from the tent.
- Saturday Morning we are going to breakfast at IHOP. We thought this would be a fun tradition that everyone would look forward to.
- During conference I am going to have a little basket full of coloring pages, crayons, and activities for the boys. Some of the ideas I got from last month's Ensign, others I found on Sugar Doodle. I also made a BINGO chart. When the boys hear a word that is on their chart they can put a bean on it. When they get a row, they earn a treat.
- Saturday night is Pizza night (take and bake) and after the Priesthood session we will go get ice cream with daddy and let him tell us everything he learned.
- Sunday morning we have cinnamon rolls. This is the only time of year that I make them, so it is something that we look forward to.
- If the weather cooperates, we hope to have a picnic lunch on one of the days.
- We are also going to spend some time updating 72-hour kits, changing water in our barrels and taking an inventory of our food storage.
- As a backup, I bought a new Disney movie that my boys have never seen. When they've had enough of conference, we'll put that on in another room so that Andrew and I can continue watching conference.

Conference Ideas
Andrew and I have really made an effort to prepare for General Conference this year. We want to make it something that our children will look forward to and something that we can enjoy as well and be fed spiritually. Here are some things that we are planning for the weekend.
