The last few weeks have been interesting, to say the least. All 4 of my boys came down with the stomache flu. It was awesome -puking, diarreah, changing diapers and sheets and bedding and clothes, having laundry up the wazoo, and not trying to puke myself! I am very grateful for a good immune system because I came away unscathed!! It's times like those that I am also very grateful for washing machines, clorox clean-ups and lysol spray!!
When we were still in Boise, Andrew went to see a Dr. about a couple of lumps that had formed on his thumb that were bothering him. The Dr. told him that he had some inflammation and gave him some topical ointment, but told him if they got bigger or changed he needed to go back. After the move, we noticed that the lumps started getting bigger so Andrew made an appointment with a specialist in Salt Lake and came to find out that he had a tumor growing in his thumb! It was totally unexpected and a little eerie but he had surgery a week later (last Wednesday) and is doing great. The tumor was about 2 inches long, 1 inch wide and about 1/2 inch thick! It was almost like a second thumb! Gratefully it was totally benine and the surgery was a breeze. It's times like those that I am so grateful for modern medicine! I would not have been a good pioneer!
Hope you are all well and tumorless this week!

Wow. Yes aren't we blessed with all of our modern conveniences. So glad to hear everyone is getting better and Andrew is tumorless.
Glad to report that yes, we are having a tumorless week, but not a puke-less week. :( Can't wait to see you in 2 weeks, girl!
I truly do hope that I am tumorless this week. I can't even joke about that one!
