We survived our sixth move without too many hitches. I think moving can be compared to having a baby. You forget how hard it is until you have to actually do it again! My biggest beef is that I spent about 12 hours deep cleaning the place from top to bottom only to find that the owners were dissastisified with the results. For that very reason, I hate renting!
We dropped our belongings in Price and headed to St. George for the Memorial Day weekend. Mom's home cooking never tasted so good and the weather was beautiful. It was just what we needed. It confused the boys a little bit when we told them that we were moving to grandma's house in Price and then went to grandma's house in St. George but I think they are over it now and we are starting to feel settled in Price. It is so nice to have so much space for them to play inside and out.
I bought a new jogger stroller and thought it would be fun to jog with Jo while Noah and Drew ride their bikes. I made the really bad mistake of thinking it woud be a good idea to ride to Marni's house. It doesn't seem very far when you're driving but it turns out that it is three miles away and a very long journey with a 2, 4, and 5 year old. I didn't think we were ever going to make it and by the time we got to the entrance of their subdivision, Noah was wailing that he couldn't move his legs anymore and despite the three bottles of water, we were all facing heat stroke!! All I can chalk it up to is another lesson learned. No three mile rides with children under the age of six!! We started swim lessons this week and T-ball starts in a couple of days. It is good to have something to keep us occupied during these warm summer days.
Andrew came home for the weekend and we had everyone over for dinner on Sunday. It is so great to have three of my siblings here and fun to be able to see my cute niece and nephews more often. Noah's neck where he had surgery got really red and swollen over the weekend and when he woke up Saturday morning it was leaking mucous. It was disgusting! We called his ENT and he called in a prescription for what we thought was an infection but when I took him in yesterday to see the doctor he said that the mucous was not from an infection but from a cyst! So either the cyst didn't get removed completely or there has already been a reoccurence, which is highly unlikely. We have to finish the antibiotic and then go see the dr. again next week. I am just hoping and praying that he doesn't have to have surgery again! I took Jonah to the pediatrician becaue he has been really fussy and he had an ear infection! I am starting to think that people with more than three kids must spend a lot of time at the dr.'s office. So the fridge is stocked with antibiotics and we are hoping that everyone is on the mend!

Sounds like a crazy busy but fun life! I'm so glad that you can live around family, it is such a blessing. I love that we live so near both families and that my kids know their grandparents and cousins!
Miss you.
Good luck with all the sickness. I know how you feel and it is never fun to have sick kids.
Glad you're enjoying being near your family! Hope everything goes well. Love ya lots.
