Tuesday
It was about 7:45 p.m., Andrew and I were talking on the phone to his mom. The boys were quietly playing. Suddenly, I hear crying from Noah's room. I go in to find Drew sitting on top of Noah's bed with blood gushing off of his left eye. Noah is in another room and there is nothing on the bed with Drew. Don't ask me how it happened. We were five minutes too late for the insta-care so we spent the rest of our evening in a crowded emergency room getting stitches!

They put some numbing medication on this gauze and held it on his head for quite a while. He looked so funny that I couldn't hold back the laughter! Apparently it didn't do the job quite well enough because I think he felt the last couple of stitches. It was so sad. I definitely think that Drew is going to be our accident prone boy!
Wednesday
We decided to lay low today and recover from the trip to the ER. The highlight of the day for me was receiving an unexpected call from a friend and mentor, Judy Harding. It made me homesick for Rexburg. I also started reading the book "The Peacegiver" by James Ferrell. I am already loving it and am excited for the insights that I am gaining about the atonement. I tried a new recipe for dinner tonight and it was a hit! My family likes Minestrone Soup.
Thursday
Today Andrew went to therapy to work on his hand/eye coordination exercises. The dental hygenologist says that if he keeps these exercises up that he can eat food on his own and maybe one day get his drivers license back. Andrew also went to work today. He really likes his job because he gets to build really big things with tinker toys. We're hopeful that he can one day get a real job where he can build real buildings. In his spare time Andrew has also been learning spanish by memorizing the words on the Taco Bell menu. I am so excited I have somebody to speak spanish with!
I finished "The Peacegiver" and recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is amazing!

oh my goodness. Poor Drew. How many stitches did he end up getting? Poor little guy. Hope he feels better. He's getting so big, by the way.
And why is Andrew in therapy? Did I miss something?
Poor Drew! It is so scary how much blood there is from head wounds, we've been there before. What happened to Andrew?
That looked so bad. I feel so bad for him. Hopefully there won't be too bad of a scar. I love Judy Harding too. Isn't she so great? I hope I can be like her someday.
You are funny, I think people thought you were serious! I caught the humor early on.
Poor little guy! I hope he feels better. Sorry Drew!
When did Andrew loose his license? Is he ok?
Poor little guy! I'm glad he's okay. You guys should go to Linder Farms there~it's a fun pumpkin patch and they have the best little donuts ever!
Oh my gosh Amber! I wish I was there to help! I am so sorry!!!! I miss you!
Thanks to all of you for your concern. Drew is doing great. It hasn't stopped him one bit. He is still just as wild as ever! As far as the bit about Andrew. He is fine. I think Emily W. is the only one who understands Andrew's humor. He wrote that paragraph about himself just to be a goof!
Ryan thought that Andrew wrote that when I showed it to him! I'm glad Drew is fine, kids bounce back fast!
