Yummy Food!

One of the most exciting things that we have discovered since moving here is a place called Costa Vida. It is a knock-off of Cafe Rio. It is pretty much exactly the same, down to the stacked napkins and the girl making tortillas. I think Cafe Rio even tried to sue them for being copy cats. We ate there on Friday and the Shredded Pork Salad never tasted so good!I also went to Krispy Kreme for the first time in my life. I now understand why everyone says those things melt in your mouth! The boys loved watching them go down the conveyor belt.

On Saturday we went to a Pumpkin Farm. We got to ride on a tractor pulled wagon and they dropped us off in the middle of this huge field so we could pick our own pumpkins. The boys loved it despite the cold. We came home and had Navajo Tacos for dinner and Pumpkin Dessert for Dessert! It is one of my favorites. Give it a try.

Crust: 1 yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup), 1/2 c. melted margarine, 1 egg. Mix together and spread in bottom of 9x13.

Mix one large can of pumpkin pie filling according to directions and pour over the crust.

Combine 1 c. cake mix, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 c. soft margarine. Mix until crumbly and sprinkle over pumpkin pie filling.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

That recipe sounded so good. I'll definetly have to print that out and try it. Yes, Krispie Kremes are sooooo good. Good thing we don't have one here. I would probably be keeping them in business right now.

You stinker! I totally fell for Andrew's joke. That is crazy about Drew. I wonder how it happened. And that pumpkin dessert was so yummy at the enrichment you did a while back. I'll have to make it.

I love the way you organize your blog by day to day stuff. You're awesome.
