Two Weeks and Counting!

My doctor is going to be out of town the week that I am due so we have officially decided to be induced on July 31. That means that exactly two weeks from today I should have a new baby boy!! I am so excited to not be pregnant anymore. I went to the hospital to pre-register the other day and they took me on a little tour of the maternity center. It made me really excited. It is a really nice, new center. The rooms are really spacious, they have a playground for the little siblings and I also found out that my last day there, I get a massage from a massage therapist!!

So in preparation for the new little one, I finally got motivated to work on the nursery. I bought some really cute bedding yesterday and today I went to Home Depot to get some paint. After I left the Depot I stuck the paint in the van and went next door to WinCo to get some groceries. When I came back out to the van to put my groceries away, I had to do some rearranging and in the process I knocked two gallons of paint out of the van and they spilled all over the parking lot. I am sure I looked ridiculous! I was frantically trying to scoop the paint back into the cans with my hands and yelling at Noah to hand me some wipes! I finally went back into the Home Depot and explained what happened. They sent their hazmat team out to clean up the paint and I went to the bathroom to try to clean up! Thankfully, they replaced my paint for free! I love the Home Depot even more now. When I finally made it back out to the van there were almost ten people surrounding my van and I felt like the biggest idiot! Everyone was really nice and I left some really pretty stains in the parking lot! Hopefully, the rest of the decorating will go a little smoother. I decided to be brave in the nursery. I am using four colors of paint and doing some stripes. I will post some pictures when I am done!

lucky duck! You get to go early! You baby boy will have the same birthday as Ethan does. So sad about the paint experience, I can only imagine how stressful that situation would be, but I can't wait to see photos of the nursery. Best of luck!

Oh my heck Amber. This gave me a good laugh. I can just picture you out there tying to clean up your paint while yelling at the kids to help! Thanks for the entertaining story. Hope the decorating goes well for you :)
