I finally finished painting the nursery last night. It took several days because I had to wait for paint to dry before I could do another color. It was a little time consuming but fun and I think it turned out pretty cute. The bottom brown color is called Bear Rug, the green color is called Grape Vine, the blue is called Skipper and the tan color on top is called Gobi Desert. I wonder if there are people who's only job is to make up names for paint colors?! We aren't going to get a crib for another couple of months because the baby will be in a bassinet in our room for a little while so right now the nursery is going to be our guest bedroom. I included a picture of the bedding from the catalog so you can get an idea of what it is going to look like when it is all put together. I just need to hang some stuff on the walls now.I went to the doctor today and I am dialated to a 1 1/2 and 25% effaced. Whoo-hoo!! Not a lot going on, but at least something.

I love the wide stripes on the wall! That nursery is darling...Did you get a buzz from the paint fumes? Hang in there!
It looks great, Amber! I love the stripes and think of you in the parking lot whenever I'm at Home Depot now :) That just sounds like something that would happen to me! The bedding will be perfect with it. Good luck with the delivery!!
