This task has felt daunting so I have been putting it off for some time but the days aren't slowing down and I don't want to get any further behind on my journaling efforts. Life has been a little crazy since we found out we were moving. I think part of it has to do with the time of year. All of the holidays beginning with Halloween make life more busy. The boys were so cute on Halloween. Noah was a clown, Drew was a ninja and Jonah was Eeyore. The costumes were so fitting of their personalities this year. It made me laugh. Noah is a big goof, Drew is always hitting something or somebody and Jonah is just happy to be here! We had a ward party on Halloween night and Noah won an award for his costume.

After Halloween it was all about the move. We are grateful for how smoothly everything worked out. We found some good renters for our house in Nampa and felt guided to our place in Saratoga Springs. The move itself was exhausting as it always is and I couldn't have done it without my wonderful friends and neighbors. They were such a huge help. We had a week between needing to be out of our house in Nampa and being able to move into our new place, so Andrew stayed with some friends in Saratoga and the boys and I stayed at my parent's. It was nice to have a week to recuperate from packing before beginning the unpacking. The highlight of the week was being able to see my niece before her first formal dance! They had dinner at my parent's house and I helped serve. It was great and brought back so many memories. Kayla was the most beautiful girl of her group. I can't believe how grown up she is.

We moved into our new place on November 13th and a week and a half later we were at the airport on our way to Virginia for Thanksgiving. My parents rented a beach house on Virginia Beach and everyone but Marni and her family were able to be there. It was so fun to see Heather and Darci and her cute family and the east coast was beautiful. We enjoyed nice weather for most of the trip. We spent a lot of time hanging out at the beach house, eating a lot of good food, and playing at the beach. We also went to Nauticus and saw an aircraft carrier and a really neat pirate exhibit. The girls went out for a night and saw "New Moon" and we also got a little bit of shopping in. The trip home was hard. Jonah came down with an ear infection and Andrew got really sick and was vomiting. It was a long day and we were glad to be home but we really enjoyed the trip and spending time with our family.

Christmas Lights on the beach!

We got home from our trip on Monday and Wednesday was Noah's 5th birthday. He has a thing for clowns now and requested a clown cake. We went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving point and ate lunch at McDonalds. Grandma Sue came for dinner and presents it was a good birthday and Noah is such a good boy. We are so grateful to have him in our family.

Amber, it is so great to hear that you are doing so well. I didn't realize that you were moving to Saratoga Springs. I have some really good friends there that I know would just love you! Watch for Kristen Parry and Amber Hawkes. They are both fabulous SAHM's that I totally think you would hit it off with. I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas!
