Christmas Stuff

I am always disappointed at the number of pictures that I have taken once Christmas is over. I think it's because we put most of it on film. So here are a few lame pictures of our awesome Christmas. We held our second annual "birthday party" for Jesus on the 23rd with Heather, Keith, Shasta, Dylan and Logan. We had a yummy dinner and then sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and let the kids blow out candles on Jesus' birthday cake. The kids love this tradition and I think it is a good way for them to remember what we are celebrating in a way that they can relate to.
This was our attempt at making a gingerbread house. We tried three times and just when we thought we had it standing for good, it got knocked over! Maybe we'll have better luck next year!

Drew with all of his goods!

Noah in his Iron Man costume!

We had Christmas at the cabin again this year. It always makes for an amazing time. It is such an ideal setting. Here is grandpa reading "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve.
Noah and Drew in their Christmas Eve jammies. Go Broncos!
