We had a wonderful Christmas this year. I was a little bit worried because we were going to be all by ourselves, but it turned out to be great! On Christmas Eve we went to Heber and had lunch with some of our best friends, the Norths. Afterwards we all went tubing at Soldier Hollow. It was a great time. Since Kathryn and I are both expecting we sat on lawn chairs and watched them go down. The weather was beautiful and the sun was shining brightly! Thank goodness for man-made snow!

After that we came home and made a Chritmas Eve feast of finger foods- little smokies, mozzarella sticks, veggie tray, fruit salad, and jalapeno poppers- it was really yummy. After we ate we read the Christmas story from the scriptures and watched the film of The Nativity. We opend Christmas Eve jammies and read The Night Before Christmas. The boys went to bed and Andrew and I stayed up stuffing stockings, putting out presents and watching
It's a Wonderful Life.
On Chrstmas day, I was the first one up around 6:30, followed by Drew. I let him look in his stocking and we finally had to wake his brothers up at 7:30. The boys were thrilled with their presents. Santa always does a good job of spoiling them! We had a yummy breakfast and played with toys until church at 1:00. Sacrament meeting was wonderful and then we came home and enjoyed a Christmas feast of ham and all of the fixings. It was a wonderful day and I really felt like Christ was the focus of everything we did. I am so grateful for Him, His life and His sacrifice. He is what makes life meaningful!
